Outsourcing your help desk duties to outsourcing companies has its pros and cons.  The best and worst of the situations are that most problems will be solved via troubleshooting databases.  The bad part of outsourcing helpdesks is that if the problem is not in the troubleshooting manual then the assistant may not be of any help as they don’t know how the company can deal with the issue.

This may not be a long term outsourcing project.  Most companies have specific needs for there program.  C++ developers will create the ideal software package for the company they are assigned to then depending on updates or maintenance outsourcing companies will leave the project once created for the intended use.

Once again like C++ and SQL using outsourcing companies for VB.NET is preferred to employing a member to your team.  This is due to the fact that projects in VB.NET are not long term.  So it would be better to use outsourcing companies with short contracts.
